Answered Prayer
It's been a strange year, its had its ups and downs, its good times and bad times. I have laughed so much that I've filled buckets full of tears but I've also cried buckets full of tears.
Through all of this I have had someone close who has never failed me nor forsaken me and today I want to give praise and thanks to my wonderful Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. He has brought me and my family through some difficult times but I have seen so much through it all.
I have seen a marriage restored, I have seen a business do well, I have seen new friends, I have seen a spiritual life grow and I have seen answered prayer.
I may tell you about it all one day when I've asked some of the people concerned if they would mind if I shared it but I am so thankful to the Lord for his goodness, his grace and his mercy that I just wanted to offer up my thanks and praise. What an amazing God we serve.

Sand Dollar
The name of this template is sand dollar so I thought it might be nice to tell you the legend of the 'Sand Dollar' as given to me on a book mark by my Aunt Freda.

Legend of the Sand Dollar
There's a pretty little legend that I would like to tell,
Of the birth and death of Jesus found in this lowly shell.
If you examine closely you'll see that you find here
Four nail holes and a fifth one made by a Roman's spear.
On one side the Easter lily, it's centre is the star
That appeared unto the shepherds and led them from afar.
The Christmas poinsettia, etched on the other side,
Reminds us of his birthday our happy Christmastide.
Now break the centre open and here you will release,
The five white doves awaiting to spread goodwill and peace.
This simple little symbol Christ left for you and me
To help us spread his gospel through all eternity.
